The HSBC Hong Kong Community Partnership Programme: SMART Community Hackathon 2025

We are delighted to share that our school has received the Most Popular Award in The HSBC Hong Kong Community Partnership Programme: SMART Community Hackathon 2025!

A team of seven students 4C Stephanie Koo, 5A Toby Ho, 5A Ava Kwong, 5A Valerie Lee, 5A Sharon Sum, 5B Kayli Ng, 6D Kitty Gan formed the group “Evergreen Smart Research Club” and designed a pair of AI smart glasses to enhance the independent living abilities of elderly people with dementia while easing the burden on caregivers.

This achievement reflects our students’ creativity and commitment, as well as the dedicated guidance of our teachers: Mr. Au of the Economics Department and Miss Leung of the Computer Department.

As one of the selected teams, our students will be participating in the 2026 HSBC Community Festival (25-26 April, Central Market), where they will showcase their design to members of the public.
