Formation Program and Personal Gudience Team

Students’ development throughout the secondary school years need different forms of support and guidance. Apart from individual counselling, the school counselling team provides different programs for different forms of students that require special guidance.

To set up supportive network for them when they need help most

Class activities are arranged to enhance sense of
belongings and help build up relationship within
class.
Approximately 10 senior student helpers at each level are arranged to have a lunch
gathering with the S.1 students every month.

Tutorial classes are conducted before the test
and the exam for S.1 students.

Adventure-based Counselling Camp is arranged for them to foster communication and problem-solving skills and to help build up class team spirit.
2To guide the S.2 students to reflect
on their past learning experience and plan for the future.
The Growth Scheme program creates opportunities
for S.2 students to reflect on their present school life and plan for their future.

Challenging activities provoke them in the need to have faith and techniques for problem solving.

Students also share their views about growth.
By working together, they develop a strong sense of belonging.
4To fine-tune the expectation of senior school life for the S.4 students.

To shift S.4 students’ paradigm of learning by highlighting the skills required as an advanced learner.

To prepare students psychologically on the stress they are about to face in their school life.
Adaptation programs with problem-solving activities and learning skills sharing from alumni
help S.4 students to face challenges every step of the way.

To strengthen students’ sense of resilience
Half-day workshop for students to reflect on their learning effectiveness.

Group activities and discussion re-focus students on the importance of perseverance and set personal goals for learning.
6To remind S.6 students of ways to release stress and the proper attitude towards life challenges.Talk on Meditation and skills to cope with stress are arranged for S.6 students to remind them the importance of releasing stress.
