Our students recently visited the University Research Facility in 3D Printing at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (HKPolyU) for an enriching hands-on learning experience.
Utilising advanced 3D scanning technology, students digitized a rare beaked whale skeleton and created a precise 3D-printed model from their scan data. This interactive workshop provided practical insights into both marine biology and modern digital fabrication technology.
We extend our sincere gratitude to HKPolyU for hosting our students and providing such an inspiring learning opportunity!
