10/10/2025 TWT Mental Health Month cum World Mental Health Day
Our school came together to celebrate Tsuen Wan and Kwai Tsing Mental Health Month cum World Mental Health Day through laughter, movement, and togetherness!
We kicked off the day by passing around a giant beach ball — symbolizing connection and joy — before moving into an energetic whole-school dance session learning “Golden.”
The hall was filled with smiles, rhythm, and positive energy as everyone joined in, reminding us how music, movement, and teamwork can uplift both body and mind.
Let’s continue to look after our mental health and support one another — every day, not just today.
09/10/2025 Exchange with 鄭州市扶輪外語高級中學
We were delighted to welcome teachers and students from 鄭州市扶輪外語高級中學 for a cultural and academic exchange .
Through campus tours and classroom experiences, students from both schools built genuine friendships and gained a deeper understanding of each other’s learning cultures .
We sincerely thank our visiting friends and look forward to meeting again soon .
03/10/2025 & 06/10/2025 Guessing Lantern Riddles Activity
The National and Civic Education Team, in collaboration with the Chinese Language Department, hosted a guessing lantern riddles activity on 3 October 2025 and 6 October 2025. Students participated enthusiastically in the activity by solving the lantern riddles together during lunchtime.
03/10/2025 The “Mock Trial @ Positive Thinking” Programme
Our school’s Moot Court Team is actively participating in the “Mock Trial @ Positive Thinking” programme, organized by the Society of Rehabilitation and Crime Prevention, Hong Kong (SRACP), showcasing the integration of legal reasoning and positive values.
As part of this year’s programme, our students have attended:
Opening Ceremony — Joining participants from various schools to witness the official launch of the programme and gain insights from legal professionals.
Inter-school Pre-competition Workshop — Engaging in mock trial exercises, role-playing, and cross-school interactions to enhance their presentation skills and legal analytical abilities.

29/9/2025 The Art of Calligraphy Meets the Amazing Oracle Bone Script
We are honoured to be the first secondary school in Hong Kong to host the “Amazing Oracle Bone Script – Hong Kong School Tour Exhibition”!
The exhibition has been displayed in our school for four days, giving our students the chance to step into the world of ancient scripts, appreciate the beauty of the history of Chinese characters, and explore the cultural depth of our heritage.
To complement this exhibition, we were privileged to invite calligrapher Mr. Pun Ping Hung, Project Advisor to the UNESCO (Calligraphy), to conduct a live demonstration of Chinese calligraphy for more than a hundred of our students.
Our students were amazed by Mr. Pun’s marvellous artworks, and some were thrilled to receive personalised calligraphical creations with their own names beautifully embedded in Chinese characters.
19/9/2025 School Re-Opening Mass
The School Re-Opening Mass was held today in the school hall. We were honoured to have Fr. Leung Wai Choi from the Salesian Province of China to officiate the Mass and present awards to the students . During the Mass, teachers and students came together as one family , received God’s blessings , and expressed their gratitude to Him for the successful start of the new academic year.

5/9/2025 Moving Together, Smiling Together: Our First Whole-School Morning Exercis
The school campus was buzzing with fresh energy and laughter during the first week of school! Yesterday, we made history with our very first whole-school afternoon exercise session!
The entire hall was transformed into an ocean of energy and joy. Seeing every student and teacher moving and stretching together was truly a beautiful sight.
The highlight? Our School Supervisor and Principal took the stage to lead the session! Their enthusiastic demonstrations ignited the atmosphere, bringing smiles to everyone’s faces.
We firmly believe that a healthy body and a happy mind are the foundations of effective learning. The laughter and movement perfectly embodied the spirit of our school community!
We eagerly look forward to the next exercise session—to moving, stretching, and growing together again!

We are incredibly honored to have Dr. Ricky Szeto, CEO of Hung Fook Tong as our special guest speaker for today’s Reading Promotion event!
Dr. Szeto shared invaluable reading strategies and life wisdom that truly inspired our students. His stories were both motivating and thought-provoking, encouraging everyone to embrace reading as a tool for personal growth and success.
And that’s not all! Dr. Szeto generously treated all our students to refreshing herbal tea! Everyone was thrilled and grateful for his kindness.

Our S1–S5 students enjoyed an exciting afternoon exploring all the amazing clubs and activities on campus. From fun games to creative showcases , the hall was full of energy and laughter. Students were cheerful and engaged as they discovered their interests and decided which clubs to join.
What a vibrant start to a year of learning beyond the classroom!

The Orientation Day for S.1 students and parents was held on 23 August 2025 (Saturday), which aimed to prepare new comers for a flourishing secondary school life. It introduced the distinctive features and educational ideas of the school, as well as essential information and resources, enabling students to make a smooth transition into academic and school life at our school.
12/8-13/8/2025 Global Leadership Challenge - International Exchange Programme
Our students participated in a Global Leaders Exchange programme with teens from South Korea on 12-13 August, 2025.
Students did not only engaged in cultural exchange activities, but also had in-depth discussions on the 17 world Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
4/8/2025 Jubilee of Youth
2025 is the jubilee year for the Catholic Church, the theme of this year is " Pilgrimage of Hope" .
Summer Liu, Vivian Yip, Natalie Pang and Sr. Weng ,Our group of about 30 people joined the Jubilee Pilgrimage organized by the Salesian Youth Movement of the Chinese Province, and joined about one million young people from all over the world to hold a week-long Jubilee Youth Festival in Rome from July 28 to August 3.
After the Jubilee Youth Day, we also visited the place where St. John Bosco began his ministry in Turin, Italy, and the place of origin of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, the hometown of St. Maria Domenica Mazzarello in Mornese , northern Italy.

English Everywhere, Fostering Fluency
Our PE lessons at Marist College were filled with energy and teamwork! Students not only tried Ki o Rahi, a traditional Māori game, but also joined in other fun activities that tested their speed, coordination and cooperation. It was a lively way to bond with new friends and experience school life in New Zealand!

The School JoyReadClub - The Hong Kong and Macao Schools eBook Reading Scheme Prize Giving Ceremony 2024- 2025 was held on April 12. Three students from our school won the Reading Star Award and two students won the Reading Leap Award. Throughout the year, our school had an excellent reading record on the School JoyReadClub eBook reading platform, with high reading frequency, reading comments, and reading sharing. Our school won the fourth place in Outstanding Reading Award - Secondary Division. Easter holiday comes and let us continue to swim in the ocean of knowledge of SJRC, uncover different stories, and have endless fun!

8/3-10/3/2025 Short–haul High-Speed Rail Mainland Exchange Programme - An Exploration of the Innovation and Technology Industry and Historical Culture in Xiamen (2024/2025)
Our students participated in this study tour to understand the development of innovation technology in Xiamen. In addition, they learnt about and appreciate the famous Chinese entrepreneur, Mr. Tan Kah Kee who contributed a lot to our country.

1/2/2025 the 21st Pan Pearl River Delta and Chinese Elite Schools Physics Olympiad organized by the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology
Five students of our school participated in the 21st Pan Pearl River Delta and Chinese Elite Schools Physics Olympiad organized by the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology on 1 February 2025. The girls took the Mechanics Test and competed with other high school students from elite schools in Mainland, Hong Kong and Macau, which was a valuable learning experience.

Our school was honored to have DJ Acid from Radio 903 and singer Cath Wong perform a surprise show, helping students relax before their tests.
8/10/2024 S.1 & S.2 Classroom Open Day
S.1 & S.2 Classroom Open Day is held in October yearly. S.1 and S.2 parents are welcome to visit classrooms during lessons. The school hopes to promote communication among different stakeholders through this event. Parents attending the class can learn about their daughter's learning content, the teacher's teaching methods, and their daughter's classroom performance. Moreover, parents could have a better understanding of how teachers and social workers help students overcome various problems encountered in learning and growth.
