15/8/2025 Saint John Bosco Award 

The Salesian Family nominated outstanding students from each Salesian secondary school to compete for the Saint John Bosco Award. Nominees must excel academically and demonstrate a spirit of service, inspired by Saint John Bosco. It is our honor to announce that Jasmine Ng from F.6 received the Saint John Bosco Award and a scholarship of $20000 among many other candidates.

During the award ceremony, Jasmine expressed gratitude for the education and nurturing she received from our school over the past six years, which helped her become a confident, independent, capable, and responsible future university student. She especially thanked Mr. Leung Kwong-yung for establishing the award and providing her with financial support. Jasmine will be entering the University of Hong Kong to study dentistry in September. 

Jasmine promised to continue striving forward and hopes to become an excellent dentist, contributing to society and improving the quality of life for the public, while embodying the qualities of care and compassion promoted by the Catholic Youth.

12/8-13/8/2025 Global Leadership Challenge - International Exchange Programme 

Our students participated in a Global Leaders Exchange programme with teens from South Korea on 12-13 August, 2025. 

Students did not only engaged in cultural exchange activities, but also had in-depth discussions on the 17 world Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

21/7/2025 New Zealand Study Tour 

English Everywhere, Fostering Fluency

Our PE lessons at Marist College were filled with energy and teamwork! Students not only tried Ki o Rahi, a traditional Māori game, but also joined in other fun activities that tested their speed, coordination and cooperation. It was a lively way to bond with new friends and experience school life in New Zealand! 

This professional article written by our Native English Teacher, Wong Kanyu, demonstrates a thoughtful and innovative approach to teaching, reflecting her commitment to student learning. By embracing the Backwards Planning Framework, she has shown a willingness to try new teaching strategies and put students’ needs at the heart of her lessons. We truly appreciate her enthusiasm, creativity, and dedication, which have brought fresh ideas to our school community. Thank Ms. Wong for her outstanding effort and for inspiring our students!

Congratulations to our S5 student, Tai Hiu Lam, Carmen, for winning the Champion title in the HKICPA Accounting and Business Management Online Quiz Competition 2025! She has also earned a valuable job shadowing opportunity at KPMG.

4D Virginia Chan, Cathleen Wong, Esther Wong & Ellen Wong won the 3rd Prize for “Love Our Home, Treasure Our Country 3.0” Outstanding Chinese Virtual Space Design Competition 2025 on 26th April, 2025. 

12/4/2025 The School JoyReadClub - The Hong Kong and Macao Schools eBook Reading Scheme Prize Giving Ceremony 2024- 2025

The School JoyReadClub - The Hong Kong and Macao Schools eBook Reading Scheme Prize Giving Ceremony 2024- 2025 was held on April 12. Three students from our school won the Reading Star Award and two students won the Reading Leap Award. Throughout the year, our school had an excellent reading record on the School JoyReadClub eBook reading platform, with high reading frequency, reading comments, and reading sharing. Our school won the fourth place in Outstanding Reading Award - Secondary Division. Easter holiday comes and let us continue to swim in the ocean of knowledge of SJRC, uncover different stories, and have endless fun!

8/3-10/3/2025 Short–haul High-Speed Rail Mainland Exchange Programme - An Exploration of the Innovation and Technology Industry and Historical Culture in Xiamen (2024/2025) 

Our students participated in this study tour to understand the development of innovation technology in Xiamen. In addition, they learnt about and appreciate the famous Chinese entrepreneur, Mr. Tan Kah Kee who contributed a lot to our country. 

11/3/2025  Stop the Bleed

American College OF Surgeons Committee on Trauma recognizes our students and teachers  for successful completion of the Bleeding Control Basic v. 1.0 Course “Stop the Bleed”

1/2/2025  the 21st Pan Pearl River Delta and Chinese Elite Schools Physics Olympiad organized by the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology

Five students of our school participated in the 21st Pan Pearl River Delta and Chinese Elite Schools Physics Olympiad organized by the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology on 1 February 2025. The girls took the Mechanics Test and competed with other high school students from elite schools in Mainland, Hong Kong and Macau, which was a valuable learning experience. 

18/1/2025  The 5th Biomedical Engineering Creative Competition “Love. Innovate for Happy Ageing” Challenge Inter-generational Robotic Car (LEGO Category) Competition 

3C Carri Chim, Sophie Ho, Miley Ma, 5A Chloe Lau and retired Geog Miss Ng won the Champion for the 5th Biomedical Engineering Creative Competition “Love. Innovate for Happy Ageing” Challenge Inter-generational Robotic Car (LEGO Category) Competition. 

21/10/2024 Surprise Show by Cath Wong

Our school was honored to have DJ Acid from Radio 903 and singer Cath Wong perform a surprise show, helping students relax before their tests.

8/10/2024 S.1 & S.2 Classroom Open Day

S.1 & S.2 Classroom Open Day is held in October yearly.  S.1 and S.2 parents are welcome to visit classrooms during lessons.  The school hopes to promote communication among different stakeholders through this event. Parents attending the class can learn about their daughter's learning content, the teacher's teaching methods, and their daughter's classroom performance.  Moreover, parents could have a better understanding of how teachers and social workers help students overcome various problems encountered in learning and growth.

8/10/2024 Student Association Inauguration Ceremony 

After the election, the new Student Association held an inauguration ceremony to hand over responsibilities from the previous Student Association.

19/9/2024  Student Association Election Consultation Day 

A consultation session was recently held, allowing students to learn more about the candidates through a Q&A before the elections.
